A GRCS: Good Rigging Control System
Will not ship until after Thanksgiving 2024 The best rigging device you can own in my opinion! The Good Rigging Control System is a complete lowering and lifting device. The GRCS is the first lowering device to combine ease of setup, lifting power and dependable, tangle-free operation in one package. This is the first lowering device to combine ease of setup, lifting power and dependable, tangle-free operation in one package. This tree mounted work station utilizes both a Harken rope winch or an aluminum rope brake. The work station has hinged side plates and nine rubber feet which provide solid mounting on a wide range of stem and pole diameters. A patented fairlead system positions the rope on the drum to eliminate crossovers during raising, lowering and side pulling operations. The mount weighs approximately 40lbs.-beefy enough to withstand heavy use, but compact enough to be quickly installed at the jobsite. The Harken 44:1 winch features a 2 speed gearing system that's self tailing, while the well thought out gearing puts enormous lifting and pulling power at your fingertips. The self tailer automatically holds the tension as a load is being raised so lifting or pulling can be accomplished by a single operator. The winch accepts 1/2" - 3/4" lowering lines. The aluminum rope brake features a 4" diameter tube welded to a base plate, with a cavity large enough for an ice pack to be placed inside, to prevent rope glazing during very extreme lowering situations. Spare parts are available on as well Ships directly from Greg(the inventor of the GRCS) For parts and replacements click here

STEIN RC1000 Lowering Device
STEIN RC1000 Floating Lowering Device 1000kg WLL Working ropes can easily be wrapped and unwrapped without removing the RC-1000 or RC-2000 from either its main anchor point or the top attachment point. The bottom anchor point has a large eye to accommodate a choked sling. The top attachment point makes for more convenient routing of the working rope as well as tensioning the rope, this also allows for Rapid-Slack-Removal in ropes whilst blocking down logs - a first in floating/hanging devices. The top attachment point is also designed for retaining the device in place whilst fixing the base anchor point securely and for attaching a tensioning or lifting system.
Grand Forest Stalpen Tree Jack.
The Stalpen Tree Jack is a robust forestry tool that loggers and sawyers use to support and fell trees safely and efficiently. Used especially in emergency situations, the tool is designed to hold and sustain a hard leaning tree. Additional Information The Stalpen Tree Jack is a robust forestry tool that loggers and sawyers use to support and fell trees safely and efficiently. Used especially in emergency situations, the tool is designed to hold and sustain a hard leaning tree. It can withstand heavy forces to safely support tree crown overhangs or an incorrect leaning tree and is especially reliable in unexpected wind gusts. Additionally, it is an aid to guide a tree being felled to fall in a desired path, even when the tree is not positioned in its naturally inclined direction. The rack and pinion mechanism allows for safe forward and backward rotation of the crank at full load without the need of a manual locking device. A convenient, quick release, detachable design allows for separation in to two pieces for optimal portability and stowing. Available in one model and size, with a maximum lift capacity of 2,600 kg, or 5,730 pounds. Total weight 14.5kg/32lbs.
Stein RCW-3001 Bollard And Winch System
STEIN's once named RC3001 with a detachable winch system that allows the operator to use the bollard independently of the winch and should a lifting process be required the winch can be attached within seconds with no tools required. Details 6613.8 lbs (29.4 kN) WLL. 3/4 inch rope capacity. Since its launch in Europe in 2009 the STEIN RC3001 has proven to be one of the most respected, sought after lowering bollards on the market, used and trusted the world over. Now it has been upgraded to allow a Winch System to be fitted and will now known as the RCW-3001. Without compromising the integrity and features users have come to trust, the RCWINCH can be easily attached and detached during use without affecting the working line or the products performance. Not all rigging jobs require the facility of lifting capability! This simple option now allows the operator to use the bollard independently of the winch and should a lifting process be required the winch can be attached within seconds with no tools required. The RCWINCH can also be integrated into the system during a lowering procedure should it be required.Unlike other Winch Style Bollards the RCWINCH does not support the load during a lowering procedure; the load is supported on the bollard as the winch is attached to the lowering line independently through a friction hitch and winch line. This allows the load to be fully supported on the bollard and not the winch. Once the load has been winched to its desired position, the full weight is then easily transferred to the main rigging line, by reversing the winch and separating the two lines. At which point the suspended load can be safely lowered, independently and unimpeded by the winch.Although weighing in excess of 13kg excluding the winch and mounting straps it can be easily mounted by one person by utilizing the top attachment point as a suspension point and simply attaching the winch in seconds once the device is mounted. The large diameter drum easily accommodates working lines up to 19mm and has a working load limit of up to 3000kg (subject to mounting type). The drum has two sets of rope guides (fairleads) specially angled at 45-degrees which allows the operator to quickly add or subtract wraps.A specially designed ratchet strap with waterproof webbing securely attaches the device to the tree and can be backed up by securing an Anchor-Sling to the base anchor point. Supplied as standard with two heavy duty rubber inserts for use when tree protection is required. The RCW-3001 is probably the most user friendly and flexible Winching Bollard on the market to date.Kit Contains the following items: • 1 x RCW-3001 Lowering Device • 1 x RCWINCH Winch Kit • 1 x 10t Ratchet Handle (RC-P5000) • 1 x 5.8m Webbing (RC-P5001) • 1 x Pair of Protection Rubbers (RC-P5006)
STEIN SMB1000 Lowering Bollard
STEIN SMB1000 Fixed Lowering Device 1000kg WLL The STEIN SMB1000 single bollard lowering device has a WLL of 1000kg and designed to work effectively with ropes of up to 14mm (Recommended Rope - STEIN Omega 12mm or 14mm). The line is guided down to the bollard and managed by fairleads both front and rear. To help prevent damage to the tree the device is fitted with 2 replaceable heavy duty Tree Protection Rubbers made from a hardwearing blend of SBR/NR rubber. The device weighs in at just 4.4kg so can easily be mounted by one person utilising the top suspension point with the recommended STEIN Mounting Strap (SS-RCP6004). For added security it is recommended the device is backed up by securing a sling to the base anchor point terminated in a self-tightening hitch such as a cow-hitch or timber-hitch. (Recommended Sling - STEIN 20mm Multi-Sling SS-3372008005). Ratchet Strap Specifications Supplied with a specially designed ratchet strap fitted with Carbon Steel hooks with Keeper Pins to prevent the mounting hooks detaching from the device when not under tension. The webbing is made from a high tenacity 50mm wide polyester yarn and is UV resistant with a 6000kg breaking strength. This strapping system allows the device to be fitted to tree with a diameter of up to 145cm. The ratchet meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the buckle to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 1000daN. This capacity is stamped on the ratchet together with a label for full traceability. The breaking strength (BS) of 2000Kg is also shown to indicate the maximum load that can be applied to the buckle before failure.
