STEIN - Wire Core Work Positioning Lanyard Fully CE Certified for use with the STEIN Mini-Ropegrab SS-4922974400 to EN358:2018 Product Description and Application: The STEIN Work Positioning Lanyard is constructed using a 16-strand polyester outer sheath with a 6mm (7x19) steel wire core. Both ends of the Lanyard are terminated using a crimp with a plated thimble eye inserted. This Lanyard is designed as a work positioning device or restraint used in conjunction with an approved climbing system or as a standalone work positioning / restraint device. The device should never be used as a Fall Arrester or as part of a Fall Arrest System. The maximum rated load in accordance with these instructions is 100kg or a single user. Lanyards used for “restraint” should be of such a length that a fall situation cannot occur. Lanyards used in “work positioning” are designed to support the user when working at height and when needing a hands free environment. It may be necessary to supplement arrangements for work positioning or restraint with collective means (e.g. Safety Nets) or personal means (e.g. Fall Arrest Systems in accordance with EN363) of protection against falls from height. A Fall Arrest backup must be used if the user is not in “restraint” and there is a risk of a fall. An energy absorber must be fitted to the backup complying to EN355. The total length of a EN354 lanyard connected to an energy absorber including the energy absorber, terminations and connectors shall not exceed 2.0m. STEIN SMB1000 Fixed Lowering Device 1000kg WLL The STEIN SMB1000 single bollard lowering device has a WLL of 1000kg and designed to work effectively with ropes of up to 14mm (Recommended Rope - STEIN Omega 12mm or 14mm). The line is guided down to the bollard and managed by fairleads both front and rear. To help prevent damage to the tree the device is fitted with 2 replaceable heavy duty Tree Protection Rubbers made from a hardwearing blend of SBR/NR rubber. The device weighs in at just 4.4kg so can easily be mounted by one person utilising the top suspension point with the recommended STEIN Mounting Strap (SS-RCP6004). For added security it is recommended the device is backed up by securing a sling to the base anchor point terminated in a self-tightening hitch such as a cow-hitch or timber-hitch. (Recommended Sling - STEIN 20mm Multi-Sling SS-3372008005). Ratchet Strap Specifications Supplied with a specially designed ratchet strap fitted with Carbon Steel hooks with Keeper Pins to prevent the mounting hooks detaching from the device when not under tension. The webbing is made from a high tenacity 50mm wide polyester yarn and is UV resistant with a 6000kg breaking strength. This strapping system allows the device to be fitted to tree with a diameter of up to 145cm. The ratchet meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the buckle to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 1000daN. This capacity is stamped on the ratchet together with a label for full traceability. The breaking strength (BS) of 2000Kg is also shown to indicate the maximum load that can be applied to the buckle before failure. ELEVATE your Climb The all-new STEIN ELEVATE Climbing Spurs. The one-piece Aluminium Shank has a 5-degree off-set tilt which allows the spur to align with your stance, and facilitates the downward force required straight from the leg through the gaff into the pole or trunk. The shank is hard anodised to help protect the aluminium and prolong its durability.  The shank is fitted with a series of adjustment holes giving a 90mm height variant. Specially designed threaded inserts are used to attach the Calf Pad which avoids threading the holes in the spurs alleviating any cross-threading issues. As all climbers' lower legs and calves are different the ELEVATE Calf Pad is manufactured from 2mm Aluminium which can be manipulated to your carf width unlike solid pads. This feature allows for a more secure fit around your calf.  The Calf Pad is fully height adjustable with a 90mm variant in height and has the option to be off-set by 4-degrees to help facilitate climber comfort. The washable Inner Pad is ribbed vertically for added comfort and aids ventilation, the pad is secured in the Aluminium shell via heavy duty hook & loop. The ELEVATE Spurs are secured to the leg using 100mm wide Hook & Loop system and a traditional synthetic leather strap with buckle for a secure comfortable fit. STEIN RCW3001 Lowering Device

Since its launch in 2009 the STEIN RC3001 has proven to be one of the most respected, sought after lowering bollards on the market, used and trusted the world over. For 2015 it has been upgraded to allow a Winch System to be fitted and will now be known as the RCW-3001. Without compromising the integrity and features users have come to trust, the RCWINCH can be easily attached and detached during use without affecting the working line or the products performance. Not all rigging jobs require the facility of lifting capability! This simple option now allows the operator to use the bollard independently of the winch and should a lifting process be required the winch can be attached within seconds with no tools required. The RCWINCH can also be integrated into the system during a lowering procedure should it be required. Unlike other Winch Style Bollards the RCWINCH does not support the load during a lowering procedure; the load is supported on the bollard as the winch is attached to the lowering line independently through a friction hitch and winch line. This allows the load to be fully supported on the bollard and not the winch. Once the load has been winched to its desired position, the full weight is then easily transferred to the main rigging line, by reversing the winch and separating the two lines. At which point the suspended load can be safely lowered, independently and unimpeded by the winch. Although weighing in excess of 13kg excluding the winch and mounting straps it can be easily mounted by one person by utilizing the top attachment point as a suspension point and simply attaching the winch in seconds once the device is mounted. The large diameter drum easily accommodates working lines up to 19mm and has a working load limit of up to 3000kg (subject to mounting type). The drum has two sets of rope guides (fairleads) specially angled at 45-degrees which allows the operator to quickly add or subtract wraps. A specially designed ratchet strap with waterproof webbing securely attaches the device to the tree and can be backed up by securing an Anchor-Sling to the base anchor point. Supplied as standard with two heavy duty rubber inserts for use when tree protection is required. The RCW-3001 is probably the most user friendly and flexible Winching Bollard on the market to date.
