The one-piece Aluminium Shank has a 5-degree off-set tilt which allows the spur to align with your stance, and facilitates the downward force required straight from the leg through the gaff into the pole or trunk. The Invert-A-Wrap is fitted with replaceable Fairleads allowing for the rigging line to be tied off if required and also act as redirects so the user can operate the Invert-A-Wrap from a safe distance. For added protection the Invert-A-Wrap is fitted with a removable / replaceable protection rubber. This rubber helps protect the structure the device is mounted to and also covers and protects the product information which includes a unique serial number for traceability for inspections. STEIN SMB1000 Fixed Lowering Device 1000kg WLL The STEIN SMB1000 single bollard lowering device has a WLL of 1000kg and designed to work effectively with ropes of up to 14mm (Recommended Rope - STEIN Omega 12mm or 14mm). The line is guided down to the bollard and managed by fairleads both front and rear. To help prevent damage to the tree the device is fitted with 2 replaceable heavy duty Tree Protection Rubbers made from a hardwearing blend of SBR/NR rubber. The device weighs in at just 4.4kg so can easily be mounted by one person utilising the top suspension point with the recommended STEIN Mounting Strap (SS-RCP6004). For added security it is recommended the device is backed up by securing a sling to the base anchor point terminated in a self-tightening hitch such as a cow-hitch or timber-hitch. (Recommended Sling - STEIN 20mm Multi-Sling SS-3372008005). Ratchet Strap Specifications Supplied with a specially designed ratchet strap fitted with Carbon Steel hooks with Keeper Pins to prevent the mounting hooks detaching from the device when not under tension. The webbing is made from a high tenacity 50mm wide polyester yarn and is UV resistant with a 6000kg breaking strength. This strapping system allows the device to be fitted to tree with a diameter of up to 145cm. The ratchet meets the requirements of the European Load Restraint Legislation Standard EN12195-2:2001 which requires the buckle to have a lashing capacity (LC) of 1000daN. This capacity is stamped on the ratchet together with a label for full traceability. The breaking strength (BS) of 2000Kg is also shown to indicate the maximum load that can be applied to the buckle before failure. STEIN - Wire Core Work Positioning Lanyard Fully CE Certified for use with the STEIN Mini-Ropegrab SS-4922974400 to EN358:2018 Product Description and Application: The STEIN Work Positioning Lanyard is constructed using a 16-strand polyester outer sheath with a 6mm (7x19) steel wire core. Both ends of the Lanyard are terminated using a crimp with a plated thimble eye inserted. This Lanyard is designed as a work positioning device or restraint used in conjunction with an approved climbing system or as a standalone work positioning / restraint device. The device should never be used as a Fall Arrester or as part of a Fall Arrest System. The maximum rated load in accordance with these instructions is 100kg or a single user. Lanyards used for “restraint” should be of such a length that a fall situation cannot occur. Lanyards used in “work positioning” are designed to support the user when working at height and when needing a hands free environment. It may be necessary to supplement arrangements for work positioning or restraint with collective means (e.g. Safety Nets) or personal means (e.g. Fall Arrest Systems in accordance with EN363) of protection against falls from height. A Fall Arrest backup must be used if the user is not in “restraint” and there is a risk of a fall. An energy absorber must be fitted to the backup complying to EN355. The total length of a EN354 lanyard connected to an energy absorber including the energy absorber, terminations and connectors shall not exceed 2.0m.
